Harvest was 9/23/16, Brix level was 25.4. This was our biggest volume vintage yet, producing 4.5 tons. We sold 1.5 tons of grapes and barreled the remaining wine in 5 barrels of neutral and new French oak for22 months. The wine was bottled in July of 2018. 124 cases were made. 2016 is a lighter bodied Cab with a smooth finish and bright flavors of blackberries and strawberries.
